The 6th of October 2010, the governement of Aragon published the call for tenders for the wind energy development zones B (40MW installed capacity) and F (105MW).

Since the application period is tight, wind resource assessment using mesoscale analysis is a suitable option. Moreover, such wind data is accepted by the Aragonese governement.

It must be noted that in the previous call (wind energy development zone A), there was an intense use of virtual data simulated by mesoscale analysis.
