NORMAWIND combines the required capacity and expertise to perform the whole cycle of a Wind Resource Assessment campaign.

The Wind Assessment services that we deliver are:

• Layout of the wind measure campaign: We advise our clients about the most appropriate location of the tower and the most convenient equipment (anemometers, wind vanes, etc.). In complex terrains, we even use CFD techniques to assess the best locations. We also deliver the project of the tower and administer the required permits and insurance

• Wind Assessment Campaign Implementation: We assist our clients in the acquisition of the equipment and turnkey project of the wind mast. Normawind recommends the in-situ supervision of the installation of the tower, thus assuring satisfactory boom orientation and excelent data quality

• Wind Campaign Monitoring: We verify the data downloading process and data filtering. We deliver monthly reports to the customer. Moreover, we detect and correct possible breakdowns in order to achieve maximum data availability

• Wind Assessment Campaign Report: Once the wind assessment campaign is finished, we deliver a comprehensive report of its development and analyze its results. Therefore, we add value to the wind energy projects of our customers by providing a good evaluation site-specific wind conditions.
